I've discontinued it (over a year ago) and strangely I still get more traffic to it than to the other four blogs I keep (combined). I've written a little bit already in the above comments but at this time I would recommend anyone in your situation to go spend $200 (less on CL) to get an M-Audio Fast Trak Pro USB device. Works with a limited edition of Pro-Tools as well as many other recording programs. I recommend Audacity for beginner/intermediate uses. http://audacity.sourceforge.net It's really very powerful.
